RHINE FAMILY | Purdue Horticulture Park

The Rhine Family. You haven’t ever seen them here before, but they are some of my

people. Haley and I became instant best friends in our Spanish class at Purdue our freshman year. She was in my wedding party and I was in hers. I was there when she got engaged to her husband, Kendall, and she was so supportive of me when I met my husband and married him a year later. Then we were pregnant with our first babies at the same time. She was due May 8, 2019 and I was due May 22, 2019. Sounds amazing right? The only thing that could make it better is if we actually lived in the same state!

But the distance hasn’t changed our friendship at all. I was THRILLED when Haley told me she was pregnant with baby #2 (and only a little sad that our second babies wouldn’t be born 3 weeks apart). It was an “ABSOLUTELY” when she texted me and asked if I could take her family and announcement photos.

It was a cold day in December when we met up to take their photos. Their one and half year old son (much like my own) wanted to do just about everything but take photos, but we still managed to wrangle him for a few good shots! My only regret is that I couldn’t bring my own son along with me to play with their son. I’m sure if we lived closer, our babies would be the best of friends! Despite that, our shoot was a lot of fun. We shared a lot of laughs and only got a little cold.

I’m always grateful for a reason to see this best friend of mine and her family. And I’m so excited for them to add a little GIRL to their family in June. Congratulations Haley and Kendall and thanks for your friendship!
