I love giveaways! I've never actually won a giveaway, but I love to give the gift of winning to someone else. The photos they receive for entering my giveaways are just a happy bonus I'm sure. 😉
My Christmas giveaway felt very needed this year. 2020 kicked all of us down at least once, but probably more than that if we are being honest. So giving away a free photoshoot felt like a way to spread happiness at the end of a really hard year. The support from those that entered my giveaway and shared it with their friends was the thing that brought me happiness. THANK YOU to all of the people that gave back to me this year in the big and little ways!
Hosting a giveaway got that much better when the winner turned out to be two people I went to high school with! Carlie and Kody are high school sweethearts and they now have two very cute boys. Carlie's little sister, Caitlin and her fiancé, Kenny, tagged along to the shoot which was an added bonus since they attended school with me too. I haven't seen any of them for many years and it was fun to briefly catch up with them.
Of course Carlie and I managed to pick the coldest, windiest day of December for this photoshoot. Isn't that always how things go? Despite the bitter cold, Carlie and Kody's boys were complete angels and I was thrilled with how the photos turned out.
